''Seven a.m., the usual morning lineup
Start on the chores and sweep 'till the floor's all clean
Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up...''
Ok, so you don't have to do EVERYTHING Punzie does in a day, but here are some great ways (Disney or not) to keep yourself sane during Quarantine.
1.) Missing your favorite rides? Youtube has tons of point of view ride videos so you can pretend you're soaring over Pandora or dashing with Slinky and friends from the comfort of your own home. The best part? No lines! It's always a walk on on Youtube.
2.) Speaking of Youtube, you can follow along on any of your favorite vloggers Disney trips and feel like you're there!
3.) Plan your next trip! Whether you're rebooking a cancelled trip or just building your dream vacation it's a great way to cure the Disney blues...and the quarantine blues.
4.) Recreate your favorite Disney foods and drinks! Pinterest has a number of recipes you can use or get creative and try to recreate them yourself if you're feeling daring.
5.) Do a puzzle or one of those diamond ''paint by numbers''! Amazon has Thomas Kinkade Disney puzzles as well as a selection of the diamond art. I've been slowly working my way through this one.
6.) Color! No matter how old you are, coloring is a great activity. If you don't have a coloring book laying around some of my favorite Disney instagram accounts have free coloring pages available right now! Check out Foolish Mortal Supply Co. for some cool ones.
7.) Do some Disney DIY! I have some awesome nail decals so I can have Mickey on my fingers. Maybe you want to make some mouse ears for your next trip or design your own family trip shirts. The possibilities are endless!
and if you're looking for something a little less Disney related...
8.) Take a walk! Everything is cancelled except for nature right now, so keep your distance and get moving!
9.) If you're anything like me, I have been deeply engrossed in Animal Crossing. Any video game is going to be a great way to pass the time.
10.) Read, read, and keep reading. Have a pile of books that you've been putting off starting? Now's the perfect time to put a dent in them.
My main tip is use this time to do what you want! If you want to nap, nap! If you want to organize every cabinet in your house that's okay too!
What are you doing to keep busy right now? I'd love to know!
